Accommodating 24 guests in luxury individual suites and each with their own private Jacuzzi or plunge pool, it features large expanses of glass and magnificent wooden decks for better game-viewing. This main lodge has been carefully designed and built, in keeping with eco-sensitive policies, to ensure that there is little impact on the natural environment, as guests will bear witness to artifacts discovered during the building programme. There is also a very obvious presence of heritage! The construction of the main lodge had to be delayed because of the discovery because of the archaeological site, which has now become part of the lodge itself.

All suites enjoy either king-size beds or twin rooms with only the finest furniture and imported linen, en-suite bathrooms with antique baths, air conditioning and spacious decks offer stunning views over the river bed and onto the plains beyond.

Maximum occupancy is 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years. 

Children below the age of 7 are not permitted at the lodge.

Guided Bush Walks
The lodge has a qualified walking guide, who will take you on a one and a half hour walk in our Private Concession and get to know the smaller intricacies of nature.  Here you will be able to smell, touch and feel the natural surroundings you have travelled so far for.  Your guide will spend time teaching you more about the tracks and signs of the bush as well as about the smaller animals often overlooked in pursuit of the Big Five.

Bird watching
Thier guides are more than happy to share their unrivalled knowledge of our feathered friends with their guests.  There is so much to learn about birds on our Concession.  From the fierce Marshall Eagle to the smallest and most delicate Blue Waxbill.

Self drives
Enjoy the wonders of Kruger from the comfort of your personal vehicle or rental car.  Stop off at one of the many picnic sites for an Ice Cream or an ice cold Drink during summer time.

Bush dinners
Enjoy a lovely dinner under the African Skies, in an unfenced area of our Private Concession in the Kruger National Park. This is a privilege that is reserved for our guests only. Nowhere else in Kruger will you be able to dine with the Big Five.
