Hervorragendes, freundliches und überaus entgegenkommendes Hotelpersonal in allen Abteilungen. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls großzügig und gut eingerichtet.

Hallo zusammen, wir waren durchweg zufrieden. Sehr schöne großzügig gestaltete Außenanlage mit Pools und Zimmer. Angenehmer netter Service. Shuttle zum Beach, aber eben kein Beach Hotel für den, der einen Strand am Hotel haben möchte. Hotel liegt eher abseits, daher außerhalb vom Hotel nichts zu sehen. Außer Appartmenthäuser und der Golfplatz. Unterm Strich aber nicht wie die Anantara Häuser in VAE.

We spent three nights here as a family with children aged 11 and 13, so my review is based upon 'family travel' so we were unable to utilise the adults pool area which is quieter and looked lovely.
The hotel grew on me after a couple of days and staff were helpful and friendly, but not sure it lived it up to the Anantara brand I’d experienced previously in Asia & Middle East. The hotel looks impressive but feels rather soulless and service while friendly wasn’t as refined as other luxury hotels I’ve experienced. There is nobody outside the main entrance welcoming new guests and ushering them inside while taking their bags and this should be standard in 5-star resorts.
Location isn’t in a particularly good area, however, the shuttle ran pretty effectively whenever we requested a seat via the reception. It take around 15 minutes to reach Vilamoura and the wait time was 20 minutes.
The pool area has the comfiest loungers and cabanas I’ve ever experienced and there’s no additional charge for the latter, which was a positive. Service at the pool was very good - there was always plenty of staff serving and we never waited long.
Bedrooms were spacious and modern, with good bathrooms and efficient housekeeping.
Concierge manager was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations.
Buffet breakfast is spectacular in a lovely setting - loved the cafetière of fresh coffee brought to the table. Freshly squeezed juices - absolutely everything on offer.
Another option for dinner would have been appreciated. There was only the buffet for us since fine dining with children wasn’t an option.
We reserved loungers at Puro Beach Club one afternoon which was complimentary and a nice touch for guests.
