Contemporary décor and a thoughtful selection of features make the Deluxe rooms irresistible. Each room offers a comfortable living space, including an ocean-facing private balcony and separate shower and bath, which are more than enough for two adults and a child. Designed around the contemporary bar and lounge concepts incorporating comfortable sofas inspired by the organic shapes made by the sea, Mystique is where guests of all ages meet to eat, read, mingle, relax and party.
The Retreat
Our main bar, The Retreat, looks out over multi-tiered pavilions with a beautiful view of the beach and the clear blue sea beyond, reached by crossing a little wooden bridge from the main restaurant, Seasonal Tastes.
The half-board package starts with your dinner on arrival day and ends with your
breakfast on departure day and includes breakfast at Seasonal Tastes, dinner at Seasonal Tastes, Kangan and Mystique, and excludes all beverages. Guests are offered a food credit when dining at Fusion and themed nights at Beach Grill.
Activities
Spread over 10 hectares, The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa, Mauritius, has captivating views and sparkling amenities. Our coastline is adjacent to one of only two marine nature parks in Mauritius. Bordered by a reef running the length of the hotel coastline, the marine park is full of such indigenous species as starfish, groupers, gruntfish, lionfish, angelfish, and catfish.
The Heavenly Spa by Westin™ is a luxurious retreat created with supreme sensitivity to the guest experience—capturing the essence of luxury and privacy at the heart of your stay. Beyond this blissful escape, the resort offers a number of activities to guide you on your path toward rejuvenation. Two swimming pools refresh the senses with crystalline waters, poolside refreshments, and light meals, while the turquoise waves of the Indian Ocean are an incredibly tempting alternative.
When you have fully recharged, set your sights on more active endeavours, including several water-based options. The Marine Nature Park is adjacent to the resort and is an excellent alternative for those wishing to enjoy a leisurely stroll through relaxing and scenic surroundings.
Partake in a spirited game of tennis in one of the two lighted courts, conveniently located at the entrance to the hotel and offering breathtaking views of the mountains. The fitness centre—located on the first floor of the spa—includes cardio, strength, and movement-training facilities. Steam rooms, saunas, and Jacuzzis soothe tired muscles after workouts.

Die große und weitläufige Hotelanlage befand sich in einem sehr guten und gepflegten Zustand. Unser Zimmer war in einem ansprechenden Zustand, sehr groß, komfortabel ausgestattet und entsprach einem gehobenen fünf Sterne Standard. Der Schlafkomfort war himmlisch. Die Restaurants, die Außenanlagen, die Poolanlage, das Spa und die öffentlichen Bereiche waren sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet im Rahmen unserer gebuchten Halppension war sehr umfang- und abwechslungsreich. Die Qualität herausragend. Das für uns beeindruckendste Moment unseres Aufenthaltes waren die Mitarbeiter. Vom Empfang, über die Servicekräfte, das Reinigungspersonal und auch das präsente Management - ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, offen und am Gast interessiert. Was uns definitiv nicht gefallen hat, ist das All-Inclusive Angebot. Hier versuchte das Hotel immer wieder Ausnahmen einzustreuen, so dass man gezwungen war, einen teils happigen Aufpreis (bis zu 40€ für ein Steak) zu zahlen. Immer wieder wurden Speisen ganz ausgenommen, obwohl laut Liste das gewählte Restaurant inklusive sein sollte. Oder man bekam lediglich einen finanziellen Rahmen vorgegeben, in dem man sich Speisen aussuchen konnte. So hatten wir uns All-Inclusive eigentlich nicht vorgestellt. Hier erscheint es mir am Ende sogar günstiger, die Halbpension zu wählen und dann den Aufpreis für die entsprechenden Speisen zu zahlen. Die vielen Diskussionen mit dem Management zu diesem Thema trübten die Urlaubsstimmung zwischenzeitlich etwas. Auch die Qualität der gewählten Speisen überzeugte uns teilweise nicht vollends. Zusammengefasst würde die Hotelanlage und Zimmer von uns ein gut bekommen, das All-Inclusive Paket lediglich ein ausreichend und die Qualität der Speisen ein befriedigend.
