The Resort
Oman is archaic landscapes, small islands, white villages and biblical mountain scenery.
Al Bandar is one of the three hotels at Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa, Sultanate of Oman. The five-star deluxe property provides 198 sea-facing guestrooms.
The name Al Bandar translates as "The Town", a name reflected in the hotel's architecture. Inspired by old Muscat, featuring buildings of varying heights and a variety of ornate balconies, Al Bandar is an inspiration.
The Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa is located in one of the most beautiful places - a natural bay on the Arabian Gulf, 20 minutes from the capital Muscat.
This dream resort was built in the style of an Omani village on around 124 hectares. It is located directly on the approximately 500 m-long private beaches, and a 250m artificial river runs through the entire complex.
Al Bandar, the heart of Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah, is perfect for couples or best friend vacations who want to be in the thick of the action and take advantage of the resort's extensive range of activities.

Client Reviews
